Biography

“To me, art is a way of locating humanity within myself and the world. Creating and contemplating art helps us process our own traumas, integrate, make sense of world events, and develop self-love.

Much of my work responds to the extreme copy/paste culture I grew up in, my family dynamics, and my observations of people and systems.

Since early childhood, I’ve loved artmaking, learning, and exploring. After high school graduation I left home and moved cross country. I set up in Eugene, Oregon in 2022.

My art from Eugene reflects my range of experiences with love, friendship, and myself.

My current work looks to make sense of contradicting realities I’ve seen and internalized since childhood.

I’ve since returned home. My family and I have been slowly learning to grow gardens in ourselves and our lives.”
